The Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) is another gem in Qatari Diar’s list of Qatar-based visual icons. Located in the lively West Bay area of Doha.

DECC is both a cultural icon and visual reference-point in Qatar. Connected through an  underground tunnel to Sheraton Park – another landmark development in the Qatari Diar portfolio  –– DECC’s pedestrian pathways lead directly to Doha Corniche. The Centre is also served by a train station on the main line of Doha’s new Metro network.
With  parking  for   almost  5,000 vehicles, DECC   offers five  large   exhibition  spaces –– purposely  built without supporting columns or pillars, which enables exhibitors to move machinery, cars, boats and other  heavy  equipment  into   and  out  of  the building. The  flexible  spaces  can  be  combined  to  create  even larger halls for major trade events and exhibitions.

In its short lifetime, DECC has already become a very important regional and international exhibition centre.
