The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) and Qatari Diar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding a mechanism for transferring the condition preventing the disposal of lands allocated by the state for citizens to private lands in Al Khuzama, Al Nafl (Ijarah) and Qetaifan Islands South in Lusail City, to enable citizens to benefit from housing loans in these areas.

Youssif Al-Musleh, Chief Development and Asset Management Officer – Qatar at Qatari Diar, said “Qatari Diar is keen to provide opportunities for citizens to invest and live in Lusail City, and the areas covered by the agreement are among the most distinguished residential areas within the city. We would like to thank MME for its cooperation in providing this opportunity.”​
